As you're about to find out, I do things a little differently.

We are our most open, honest selves when speaking freely. For this reason, I will never have a client fill out a questionnaire or hand over already-printed materials when creating their site.

Instead, I interview each one of my clients, for 2–3 hours. This helps me understand who you are, what drives you, and what you hope to accomplish. It helps me emulate your tone and voice, so your copy reads as though it was spoken out loud, by you.

discovery session

Over the course of 2–3 hours, I listen as you describe yourself, your service, and your values. I’ll ask seemingly unrelated questions and those you saw coming, becoming more familiar with your tone and voice.

3 homepage approaches

There are countless ways to say the exact same thing. I deliver three complete (and completely different) approaches to your homepage, so you can imagine new ways to describe your service.

homepage review

Tell me what you liked, what you loved, and what you never want to see again. I’ll weave together a single, second draft to your homepage — and carry the angle throughout the rest of your site.

2 approaches for each subpage

I write two approaches to each sub page. As with the homepage, we’ll discuss both options before I weave together a finalized, second draft.

design hand-off

Copy takes a different form when placed into a website wireframe. I hand-off your second draft copy to my designer to bring your words to life.

final round of edits

Once you see a visual, PDF mock-up of your homepage, we dive into a final round of edits. Now, your site is ready to be built in Wordpress or Squarespace.
